PayPal Information

Both the active chapter and the Alumni Association have decided to accept credit card payments through PayPal for various things. We have looked at the two major providers of online credit card payment services (Yahoo! BidPay and PayPal). Though each of these services are very good, PayPal has been around longer and is provided as service by X.com (no, it is not affiliated with online adult entertainment).

If you are visiting PayPal for the first time, do not be put off by the various membership levels or the mention of checking account verification.  These things are optional!  All you really have to provide in order to make a payment is your email address, home address, and credit card information.

A word about the PayPal $5 Promotion

If you are willing to go to some extra trouble, you can earn a $5 credit for yourself, and $5 for the actives or alumni.  The requirements are pretty severe, however:  you must be willing to give them your checking account information, and essentially make a $250 deposit into a PayPal Money Market account.  A complete explanation can be found here.
